Top Five February Thematic Units for Lower Elementary Students

1. Groundhog Day Unit

What a great way to start the month!  There are so many great books and activities to do about the Groundhog.  Kids love to guess whether the Groundhog will see his shadow or not!  Will we have six more weeks of winter?
